Don Burdeshaw, husband of SCS\/SNC retiree, Peggy Burdeshaw, had carotid artery surgery July 12.\u00a0 Peggy reports that Don is now at home and doing dine.<\/p>\n

Our retiree group sends get well wishes to Jackie Brill Walton, wife of SCS\/SNC retiree, Wayne Walton.\u00a0 Jackie fell at home about three weeks ago and suffered four breaks in her leg and ankle.\u00a0 She is now at home and undergoing therapy.\u00a0 She will not be able to put weight on her leg for six weeks.<\/p>\n

I received word today from Billie Ewing, wife of SCS\/SNC homebound retiree Jim Ewing, that Jim has been admitted to the new VA nursing facility at Pell City, AL.<\/p>\n

She said that he does enjoy looking at cards, so I am listing the address for you.<\/p>\n

Our sympathy is extended to the family of homebound SCS\/SNC retiree, Henry Vincent, who passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013.\u00a0 Visitation will be Wednesday, June 12, 2013, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home.\u00a0 Funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.<\/p>\n
