Gerald Winston Burt\u00a0 Nov 11, 1929 \u2013 Feb. 16, 2016<\/p>\n
Gerald, a resident of Birmingham, Al, passed away at the age of 86.\u00a0 He attended Beth Hallel and Chelsea Creek Community Church.\u00a0 He served our country in the U.S. Air Force and National Guard.\u00a0 He was a graduate of Ensley High School and Jefferson State Community College and he retired from Southern Company Services.<\/p>\n
Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Phillips Burt; parents, George Burt, Sr. and Mary Frances Burt, brother, George Burt, Jr.; sisters, Ennis Burt and Georgia Alexander.\u00a0 He is survived by his niece and caregiver, Jaqueline Schillaci (Jake).\u00a0 A special thanks to Magnolia Ridge Nursing Home and St. Vincent\u2019s hospice for their comfort and care.<\/p>\n
