Ralph Tribble, Jr.

Jan 13, 1919-Aug 5, 2014 Ralph Tribble, Jr. age 95, of Leeds, passed away August 5, 2014. He was a member of Leeds First United Methodist Church and the Air Force Association. He was very proud to be a Pearl Harbor survivor and served in the US Air Force during World War II and Korea. He was preceded in death by his wives Faye Tribble and Jimmie Tribble. Chapel services will be held on Saturday, Aug 9, at 10am with visitation from 5pm until 7pm Friday. He is survived by his son Mike Tribble (Anna), grandchildren Kristopher Tribble, Wesley Tribble, Tara Hyde, Katharine Sweatt, Austin Stewart and 8 great grandchildren. Mark Ajluni

Many of you knew Mark Ajluni at SNC who tragically passed away on June 21, 2014.   A copy of his obituary and memorial arrangements follows.   Unfortunately, this notice was received after the memorial service on June 30, 2014:

Memorial service for Mr. Mark James Ajluni, 58 (Dec. 13, 1955 – June 21, 2014 ), of Birmingham, will be Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 12:00 pm at the Chapel of Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, AL. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Mr. Ajluni passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014. He was born on December 13, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan to Nasif Ajluni and Jeannette Barham Ajluni. Mr. Ajluni was a Nuclear Engineer for Southern Nuclear Fleet. He loved to cook, and also enjoyed playing golf and hiking. Mr. Ajluni loved spending time with his family and learning to play the guitar. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 35 years, Lisa Hatton Ajluni; daughter, Jessica Marie Ajluni (Christopher Morgan); mother, Jeannette Barham Ajluni; brothers, Fred Ajluni (Pam), Louis Ajluni (Cheryl), Thomas Ajluni (Lore), and Robert Ajluni (Brenda); father-in-law, Conley Hatton; and nephew, Bryan Leech. He was preceded in death by his father. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to The Michael J. July 14, 2014 Meeting

Please join us on July 14, 2014, Room 130 Building 42 at SCS Inverness at 1:00 PM for our next meeting.  Our featured guest speaker will be Brian Whitley, Regulatory Affairs Director at Southern Nuclear. This is a great opportunity to get an update and ask any questions you may have on the design and construction of Vogtle Units 3 and 4.

James Frank Rutherford, born in 1941, passed away on Thursday, June 19th.  He is survived by his wife, Shirley and a daughter.  The arrangements are at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville on Monday, June 23, 2014.

Frank was a long time mechanical designer for SCS since around 1966, and contracted to work for the company at least until 2009.  No other information was available at time of notification.

On Monday, visitation is from 11:00-12:00 and the service is at 12:00 noon.  The funeral home is at located at 1591 Gadsden Highway, Trussville, Al.  35173; phone is 322-0543.
