Procedures for contacting a live person for assistance with benefits. First, be prepared to provide the personal information necessary to identify yourself or the person you are calling for. Two ways available: Monday through Friday.

1. Hewitt: Call 1-888-435-7563: When answered and after request for your ID enter the following – *0# (star, zero, pound). Someone will answer between 8am and 8pm Eastern time.

2. HR Direct: Call 1-888-678-6787: Select Option 3; You will get a person who will transfer you to the appropriate Hewitt benefit person between 8am and 6pm Eastern time.
