Brenda passed away on Saturday 9/7/2013 and visitation was 9/9/2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Ridouts Trussville. Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 10, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Ann Huddleston, wife of SCS/SNC retiree, Geoff Huddleston, is at home recovering from recent cancer surgery. Her surgery went well.

Scott Herron has been in St. Vincent’s East hospital for the last three weeks with an unknown ailment, and is being treated with antibiotics. He will be transferred today to East Glen Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation, 53 Medical Park Drive East, Birmingham, AL 35235. We wish him the best and hope his medical issues can be resolved.

Our sympathy is extended to the family of recently SCS/SNC retiree Stanley Sundar Vasa who passed way on Monday, July 29, 2013. Services were held on Saturday, August 3, at Currie Jefferson Funeral Home.
Janice Thies suffered a TIA during preparation for her chemo treatment several weeks ago. She is now at home, and John reports no lasting effects from the TIA.

Don Burdeshaw, husband of SCS/SNC retiree, Peggy Burdeshaw, had carotid artery surgery July 12. Peggy reports that Don is now at home and doing dine.

Our retiree group sends get well wishes to Jackie Brill Walton, wife of SCS/SNC retiree, Wayne Walton. Jackie fell at home about three weeks ago and suffered four breaks in her leg and ankle. She is now at home and undergoing therapy. She will not be able to put weight on her leg for six weeks.
