Kerri Keith, Commercial Markets Manager
Elizabeth Wash, Commercial Markets Manager
Kerri Keith has been with Southern Company since March 2008. She began her career in SCS System Planning and came to Southern Power in 2013. She worked for several years in the Finance organization, moving into the role of Planning Manager in 2016. In this
role she managed the gas and renewable Financial Plans as well as well as Resource Planning, while also working on gas remarketing and short term gas trading deals. In 2020, she came to the Commercial Optimization Trading and Transmission organization as a Commercial Markets Manager for our renewable facilities in SPP, ERCOT, PJM and NE-ISO. Her team manages the PPAs and customer relationships for the majority of our wind fleet as well as some solar and fuel cell assets. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in Civil Engineering (2001) as well as her MBA (2003), earning her Professional Engineering license in 2012. She lives in Hoover, AL with her two labradoodles, Shelby and Clyde.
Elizabeth Wash – Elizabeth joined Southern Company in 2012 and has held various external affairs, siting and corporate real estate roles at Alabama Power and Southern Power. In 2020, Elizabeth joined Southern Power’s Business Development team and lead the
successful acquisition of Deuel Harvest Wind Farm and South Cheyenne Solar Facility. In 2023, she joined Commercial Optimization Trading and Transmission as a Commercial Markets Manager for the western fleet covering CAISO, WECC, and MISO markets. Her team manages the PPAs and customer relationships for most of our solar and battery storage fleet as well as two wind facilities. Elizabeth earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a business minor from Auburn University and a J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. She lives in
Vestavia, with her husband, Robert, and two boys, Owen (6) and Thomas (3).
